CPD Seminars & other events

PIBA helps members and their staff to meet their CPD requirements by providing CPD bootcamps, seminars and roadshows inclusive of your membership fee throughout the country. In 2016, we provided over 30 hours of CPD events for our members.

PIBA Network Services

We aim to enhance member's profitability through schemes we have negotiated on their behalf. Members can avail of competitive Professional Indemnity rates; cost reducing schemes and remuneration enhancing schemes.

Agency Agreements

Having introduced the agency agreements to the Broker market, PIBA continues to assist Brokers in the areas of agency agreements, buy-outs and valuing their Brokerages. Agency agreements are in place with the main Life Offices - Zurich Life, Aviva Life & Pensions, Irish Life, New Ireland, Friends First, Standard Life and Royal London. These agreements have fundamentally enhanced the position of the Broker and increased the value of PIBA Broker agencies.

Public Relations

PIBA promotes Brokers as providing choice, adding value to the financial decision-making process and as giving an unrivalled service compared to any direct operator or Bank in the market. PIBA is also a leading authority in the media on personal finance, mortgages, pensions and industry issues.

PIBA Mortgage Services

PIBA Mortgage Services facilitates the independence of the Broker by giving members access to all the lenders in the market and providing a non-exclusive packaging solution, with no threshold requirements. This service is of critical importance in ensuring that the mortgage market remains accessible to PIBA Members.

Communications

Member Communications including e-mail bulletins, ''The Financial Broker' magazine, website, newsletters etc. are issued regularly to keep you informed on industry changes. Members also benefit from being able to use the PIBA name and logo on all company documentation.
